The Turbosmart vIWG Vacuum-Operated Wastegate Actuator is a universal upgrade designed for custom turbocharger setups where a direct OEM replacement is not available. It is intended to improve boost response, control, and stability across a wide range of applications.

Compared to factory actuators, it increases the working ratio by using a larger diaphragm surface area and revised internal spring calibration. This gives the actuator greater mechanical leverage against boost pressure and exhaust backpressure, while still maintaining smooth and responsive operation across the RPM range.

With factory base pressure, this results in quicker spool, a stronger and more usable torque curve, and improved boost retention at higher RPM.
