The Turbosmart IWG75 Upgraded Wastegate Actuator is designed to deliver maximum boost response and improved control for factory frame K04 turbochargers in VAG applications. This performance upgrade enhances spool characteristics, boost stability, and torque delivery across the full RPM range.

Product Overview

The IWG75 series features an increased working ratio compared to factory actuators. This is achieved through a larger effective diaphragm surface area and revised internal spring calibration, allowing greater leverage over boost pressure and exhaust backpressure—while maintaining fast, responsive operation.

With factory base pressure, you can expect:

• Earlier boost onset
• Stronger mid-range torque
• Broader boost and torque curve
• Improved boost hold into higher RPM

Higher base pressure setups can further enhance performance, though tuning and recalibration may be required.

Designed as a bolt-on upgrade for VAG K04 turbocharger platforms, including performance 1.8T applications.
