Turbosmart Internal Wastegate Actuators are engineered to deliver maximum boost response and precise control for factory frame and performance turbocharger systems. The IWG75 and GenV Twin Port ranges improve boost control, spool response, and consistency across the entire RPM range compared to OEM actuators.

The enhanced performance comes from an increased working ratio, achieved through a larger diaphragm surface area and revised spring design. This provides greater leverage against boost pressure and exhaust backpressure while maintaining fast, stable actuator response.

Running factory base pressure delivers earlier peak boost, a broader torque curve, and improved boost retention at higher RPM. Higher base pressure configurations can further increase performance, though ECU tuning and recalibration may be required.

🔁 Twin Port Technology

Twin Port actuators provide a wider boost control window by applying pressure to both sides of the diaphragm. This allows the boost control system to actively increase or decrease effective spring pressure, enabling:

• Dual-stage boost control (low and high boost targets)
• Improved boost stability and responsiveness
• Ability to use softer base springs for better transient response
• Greater tuning flexibility across all load conditions
