In stock form, the TD42T delivers reliable durability but lacks strong, consistent boost delivery—especially once larger tyres, weight, and off-road accessories are added. This becomes even more noticeable when tuning, where the OEM actuator struggles to maintain a stable boost curve on the VNT-style turbo system.
