The Turbosmart TS-HCT-M081 Constant Tension Hose Clamp covers a clamping range of 2.750" to 3.625" (70–92mm) and is supplied as a pack of 2. It suits Turbosmart 3.00", 3.25" and 3.50" silicone hose – larger intercooler piping, turbo inlets and intake tubes.

Why constant tension?

Standard worm-drive clamps are set once and stay at that diameter. Silicone hose and alloy pipework expand when hot and shrink when cold, so after repeated heat cycles a fixed clamp can end up loose – the classic cause of a boost leak or a popped intercooler hose. A constant tension clamp keeps applying the same clamping force through those cycles, so the joint stays sealed without constant re-tightening.

Turbosmart features

  • Dual-bead inner shell for an even, positive seal around the full circumference
  • Flanged edges that protect the silicone from being cut or pinched

Use this clamp on the following Turbosmart hoses: 3.00" 90° Elbow, 3.00"–3.25" and 3.00"–3.50" straight reducers, the large end of the 2.00"–3.25", 2.50"–3.25", 2.75"–3.50" and 3.25"–4.00" (small end) reducers, and the 3.00" and 3.50" double hump hoses.
