The Turbosmart Constant Tension Hose Clamp TS-HCT-M062 is a spring-loaded clamp for hose outside diameters from 1.970" to 2.875" (50–73mm), supplied as a pack of two. This is the go-to size for 2.00" and 2.25" silicone hose – intercooler piping, charge pipes and turbo outlets on most four-cylinder turbo applications.

Why constant tension?

Every time an engine heats up and cools down the hose and the pipe underneath expand and contract at different rates. A conventional worm-drive clamp is fixed at one diameter, so each heat cycle leaves it a little looser – which is why hoses that were tight when fitted start to seep or blow off months later. A constant tension clamp keeps a spring-loaded load on the hose at all times, taking up that movement so the joint stays sealed through thousands of heat cycles – especially important on boost-side joints where a popped hose means an instant loss of boost.

Matches the outside diameter of Turbosmart's 2.00" and 2.25" silicone hose, including the 2.00" 90° elbow, 2.00" double hump hose and 2.25" double hump hose, the small end of the 2.00" to 2.50" 45° reducer elbow and 2.00" to 2.50" 90° reducer elbow, and the matching ends of the 2.00" to 2.25" and 2.00" to 2.50" straight reducers. Always measure the hose outside diameter (not the pipe) when choosing a clamp size.
