Brand: Turbosmart

The Turbosmart TS-HR175225-BK is a straight silicone reducer that steps a 1.75" (45mm) pipe or hose to 2.25" (57mm) in a single moulded piece. It is part of Turbosmart's engine-bay silicone hose range – the same multi-layer reinforced silicone Turbosmart specify for their own intercooler and intake kits.

Why Turbosmart silicone

  • Multi-layer reinforced construction with a 5mm wall – holds its shape under boost and vacuum
  • Rated to 220 PSI and a working temperature range of -50°C to 170°C
  • Resists heat, ozone, UV and engine-bay chemicals far better than rubber
  • Smooth bore for unrestricted airflow; black finish suits any engine bay

Typical uses

  • Joining 2.25" intercooler piping to a 1.75" turbo inlet, throttle body or factory hose
  • Adapting aftermarket piping to OEM fittings
  • Intake and charge-pipe transitions

Size

  • Small end: 1.75" (45mm) ID
  • Large end: 2.25" (57mm) ID
  • Colour: Black

Matching clamps & other sizes

Secure each end with the right Turbosmart constant tension clamp: TS-HCT-M050 for the 1.75" end and TS-HCT-M062 for the 2.25" end. Other straight reducers in the range include 1.75"–2.00", 1.75"–3.00" and 2.00"–2.25".
