GFB 5556 Diverter Valve Blanking Plate – BMW / Fiat / Abarth / Alfa Romeo

The GFB 5556 blanking plate seals off the factory diverter valve mounting flange on BMW and Fiat/Abarth/Alfa Romeo turbo engines once the OEM valve has been relocated or replaced by a valve mounted elsewhere in the charge-pipe system.

When do you need a DV blanking plate?

  • You've moved to a weld-on or V-band mounted blow off valve on custom intercooler piping and need to cap the original DV port.
  • You're running a front-mount intercooler kit that relocates the valve and leaves the factory flange open.
  • You want to delete a failed factory diverter valve on a track or drag build using a valve elsewhere in the system.

Fitment

Suits the factory electronic diverter valve flange pattern shared by BMW turbo engines and the Fiat / Abarth / Alfa Romeo 1.4 MultiAir platform – the same flange the GFB VTA T9416 bolts to. Compare the plate against your valve mounting face and photos before ordering, and contact us with your engine code if unsure.
