GFB 5711 vent filter for GFB atmosphere-venting blow off valves with a trumpet outlet. Stops dust, water and debris being drawn back into the valve on the intake stroke – ideal for off-road, dusty or engine-bay-washed vehicles. Part number GFB-5711.

GFB 5711 – Blow Off Valve Vent Filter

An atmosphere-venting blow off valve is open to the engine bay every time it vents, and when the valve breathes back the other way dust, water and grit can be pulled into the valve body and piston. The GFB 5711 vent filter fits over the trumpet outlet of GFB atmosphere BOVs to keep that contamination out while leaving the venting sound and flow intact.

When you need one

  • Off-road, UTV/SxS and rally use where dust is constant.

  • Vehicles that are regularly pressure-washed in the engine bay.

  • Any valve mounted low or close to the road where water spray reaches it.

Fitment

Fits GFB blow off valves fitted with a trumpet-style atmosphere outlet, including the GFB-6110 standard trumpet, GFB-5702 whistling trumpet and GFB-5703 SXV trumpet. Check that your valve has a trumpet outlet before ordering.
