GFB 5353 Weld-On V-Band Flange – SS304 Stainless Steel

The GFB 5353 is the weld-on half of GFB's V-band blow off valve mounting system, machined from SS304 stainless steel for welding to stainless or mild-steel charge piping. It lets you mount a GFB V-band adaptor-equipped valve to any custom pipe and remove or reposition it in seconds without unbolting a flange.

How the GFB V-band system works

  • The weld-on flange (this part) is welded to your charge pipe.
  • A matching V-band adaptor bolts to the base of your GFB valve and seals to the flange with a Viton o-ring.
  • A stainless V-clamp with Aerotite nut pulls the two halves together – no gaskets, no studs, no leaks.

What's in the box

Weld-on SS304 stainless flange only. The V-band adaptor, clamp and o-ring are supplied with the valve-side adaptor kits (see below).

Stainless or aluminium?

Choose this SS304 flange for stainless or mild-steel pipework. For aluminium piping use the GFB 5352 6061 aluminium flange.
