The Turbosmart IWG75 Internal Wastegate Actuator is designed to deliver maximum boost response and improved turbo control for factory frame turbocharger systems. Compared to OEM actuators, the IWG75 range improves boost stability, spool response, and overall drivability across the entire RPM range.

This performance gain comes from an increased working ratio, achieved by enlarging the diaphragm’s effective surface area and revising internal spring rates. This increases mechanical leverage against boost pressure and exhaust backpressure, while maintaining fast, precise actuator response.

With factory base pressure, the result is earlier boost onset, a broader and more usable torque curve, and improved boost retention into higher RPM. Higher base pressure setups can further increase performance, though ECU tuning and recalibration may be required.
