The Turbosmart IWG75 Upgraded Wastegate Actuator is engineered to deliver maximum boost response and improved turbo control for factory-frame turbochargers fitted to Mazda’s 2.3L turbocharged engines, including Mazda 3 MPS, Mazda 6 MPS, and CX-7.

Compared to the factory actuator, the IWG75 improves boost stability, spool response, and overall drivability by increasing the working ratio. This is achieved through a larger diaphragm surface area and revised internal spring calibration, creating greater mechanical leverage against boost pressure and exhaust backpressure while maintaining fast, precise actuator response.

With factory base pressure, the result is earlier boost onset, a broader torque curve, and improved boost retention into higher RPM. Higher pressure variants can further enhance performance, although ECU tuning and recalibration is required.
