GFB VTA T9484 pilot-operated electronic blow off valve for Ford 1.5 / 2.0 / 2.3 EcoBoost (Mustang, Focus ST, Fiesta ST, Ranger, Raptor, Bronco, Explorer) and Mercedes M254 engines. Plug-and-play with the factory solenoid, eliminates boost leaks, vents to atmosphere with a crisp whoosh. Part number GFB-T9484.

GFB VTA T9484 Electronic Blow Off Valve – Ford EcoBoost & Mercedes M254

The GFB VTA T9484 replaces the factory electronic diverter valve on Ford EcoBoost and Mercedes M254 turbo engines with a pilot-operated, vent-to-atmosphere blow off valve. It keeps the factory solenoid and ECU control, so there is no wiring, tuning or check-engine light – just plug it in and drive.

How it works

The factory solenoid now acts as a pilot, using boost pressure itself to open a much larger, stronger valve. GFB's TMS (Transient Momentum Sustain) valve timing means the valve snaps shut the instant the throttle re-opens, keeping the turbo spooled between gear changes.
