The Turbosmart Kompact EM Dual Port VR8 (TS-0223-1089) is a genuine plug-and-play upgrade for the plastic factory diverter valve on the Fiat 500 Abarth 595 and 695. Unplug and unbolt the OEM valve, bolt the Kompact EM in its place and plug in the factory connector – no adaptors, hoses or extra assembly required. The Dual Port version vents to atmosphere for the classic blow-off sound.

Kompact EM technology

The multiple award-winning Kompact EM series takes Turbosmart's motorsport-proven billet valve technology and adds an onboard proprietary high-temperature solenoid and internal pressure-control channels. The result is a simple plug-and-play valve with full OE integration and control – no reference hoses, no separate solenoids, no fiddly bits.

Factory plastic diverter valves leak and fail as boost rises. The Kompact EM overcomes this with Turbosmart's Boost-Balance valve design (the more boost you run, the better it seals), a positive-seal O-ring on the piston face and full billet construction. It holds more boost and responds faster in any environment.

Fitment

VR8 valve profile – suits Fiat 500 Abarth 595 and 695 models assembled in Italy or Poland. North American-delivered Fiat 500 Abarths are assembled in Mexico and require the VR15 EM (TS-0223-1084 Dual Port / TS-0223-1284 Plumback) instead.
