GFB Respons TMS T9000 – Factory Seconds

Same valve, same performance, small cosmetic marks. GFB's factory seconds are brand-new Respons TMS T9000 units that didn't pass their cosmetic inspection – a scuff in the anodising, a machining mark or a minor finish blemish. Mechanically and functionally they are identical to a full-price Respons and are a direct bolt-on replacement for the factory bypass valve on turbocharged Subarus of the MY98–MY04 era.

What "factory seconds" means

  • Cosmetic imperfections only – the valve has never been fitted or used
  • Identical internals, spring, piston and venting bias (TMS) adjuster to the standard GFB-T9000
  • Fully tested and functional; sold at a saving over a cosmetically perfect unit

Why fit a Respons TMS

  • Adjustable venting bias – dial anywhere between 100% recirculation and 100% atmosphere venting, so you choose the sound without compromising driveability
  • Faster boost recovery – GFB's TMS (Turbo Management System) holds the valve shut harder between gear changes to keep the turbo spinning
  • No stalling or rich-running – keep enough recirculation for a MAF-equipped car to run cleanly
  • Direct bolt-on – uses the factory mounting and hoses, no fabrication
